Cambridge University Physics Society [CUPS]

The Cambridge University Physics Society provides the perfect social scene for everyone with an interest in physics, organising regular events including cocktail evenings, talks, and the annual Omega Dinner. CUPS presents an unrivaled opportunity to enjoy talks by internationally renowned speakers, which have included Stephen Hawking, Brian Josephson and Roger Penrose, on all subjects ranging from the cutting edge, to the purely historical, including philosophy, astronomy and bio-physics. A wine reception follows each talk, where there is the opportunity for informal discussion with the speaker. We also put on social events including cocktail nights and the annual May Week garden party.
