Cambridge University One World Week Society [OWW]

We are the society / committee responsible for organising the annual Lent One World Week. We co-operate with other societies to choreograph various societies-based events, and provide the impetus and publicity for the whole week.

One World Week 2009 will aim to burst the Cambridge "bubble" with a programme of refreshing and eye-opening events. It aims to draw attention to the inequality in the world whilst also celebrating the unity found in such diversity and adversity.

ANY SOCIETY WISHING TO ORGANISE AN EVENT WITH US for OWW, or that wants to PUBLICISE YOUR EVENT ON OUR PROGRAMME, can do so EASILY, by emailing rh401.
