Cambridge University Motor Sport Society [CUMSS]

Black Camel Racing is a motor racing stable run by Cambridge University Motor Sport Society, with the aim of preparing and racing cars in real club level competition. We provide our members with an introduction to the real world of racing, participating in the entire range of activities that epitomise a racing outfit: from race car development to intense race driver training, as well as opportunities to hone marketing, business and organisational skills.

We have recently started the complete build of a Tiger Avon kit car, from bare chassis to full specification race car. Currently around half-way through the build, the car should be on the track in summer 2011. Several members have contributed to the development, improving their practical engineering and business skills in a real working environment; something they find enjoyable as well as worthwhile.
