Cambridge University English Society

The Cambridge University English Society is the student run society of the Faculty of English. Its purpose is to promote and help communication between English students, and it aims to combat the relative isolation of reading a subject where work is individually rather than group orientated. Membership is automatically extended to all English students, but others can join by emailing soc-english-committee@lists.cam.ac.uk. The society runs social events, including an annual dinner, club nights and a garden party, as well as theatre trips, speaker meetings and careers talks.
