St Catharine's College Film Society, having recently been taken over by new management, continues to aim to provide the best in variety of film across Cambridge University. Our goal is to broaden horizons, set unexpecting hearts racing, and bring the fresh and the new to the stale and predictable.

Ranging from the old to the new, we're not afraid to break from convention, and if just one person in the audience enjoys a film then that film was worth showing. Not everything will be for you - variety as they say is the spice of life, and in life you can't please everyone all the time. You can find our termcard of showings on our website and Facebook group, and plan in advance what you want to see according to whatever suits you.

Of course, films are about entertainment, and we would be nowhere without our audience - and so we kindly ask our attendees each term for recommendations of their favourite films for showing at later dates. We find it hugely rewarding to show the films that we love, and we strongly feel that you should too. It's easy to get involved - just email us with the contact address on this page!

Oh, and did we forget to mention - Catz Film is free! Unlike other college film societies, we feel it's a privelege for us to be able to show our films, and don't expect you to pay for it.

Film showings are typically at 8:00pm in the Ramsden Room of St. Catharine's College on Fridays, with notices well in advance if this is not the case.

As ever, we hope to see you there!
