Cambridge University (Dr. Perse Memorial) Ancient Literature Society [PALS]
A diverse reading society aimed at anyone with an interest in ancient literature: classicists, other ancient linguists, or enthusiastic beginners are all welcome to join. The only criterion for membership is an honest desire to learn more about Latin and other ancient literature.
Beginners who have never studied an ancient language before are especially welcome. Texts are read in translation, although the originals are of course provided to those who are interested.
Regular meetings, social events, and planned trips abroad!
