Alternative Prospectus

The Alternative Prospectus is published every two years by CUSU, and is is produced to give you an accurate, students-eye view of living and working in Cambridge as a student.

Alternative Prospectus 2009-11 entry

This is the only FREE guide to Cambridge University written for prospective students by current students of the University.

The CUSU Alternative Prospectus is produced to give you an accurate, non-partisan view of living and working in Cambridge as a student.

Written by students, for students, this Alternative Prospectus takes you through student experience here. You'll find profiles of all the colleges and subjects, guides to the admissions process and interviews, information about finance (and what bursaries, student loans and tuition fees are actually all about).

It's honest, relevant and gives you both the positives and the negatives. We're not trying to 'sell' you the University, but we do want to make sure that you have the resources to make an informed decision about whether it's for you and to guide you through the applications process.
