Well done on getting your results, and welcome to Cambridge University.
We know you've worked hard to get here, and it looks like it paid off. As your students' union, we're here to let you know that it's not simply hard work from here on in. you'll probably experience your fair share of late nights in the library, but you'll also have a great time, discover new skills and make amazing friends.
While you're doing all of this, and much more, CUSU is here as your students' union to make sure that your University experience as a invigorating, smooth and unforgettable as possible. CUSU is your Union: it is tailored to your needs as a student and as an individual.
Just as important, CUSU thrives on the energy that students put into it, so get involved in whatever aspect of CUSU you are most passionate about, whether that means being on the Ents team coordinating an amazing line-up of club nights and social events, shouting into a megaphone at a protest, joining the dynamic student-run editorial committee of The Cambridge Student newspaper or running as a student representative to make sure that students' voices are heard at every level of the University.
When you get to Cambridge, you'll plunge right into student life- and CUSU will be right there alongside you. The CUSU Societies Fair on the 6th and 7th October gives you the opportunity to discover which of the hundreds of societies you want to get involved in. CUSU Ents will bring you an unmissable selection of club nights to kick off your first term, as well as exciting events throughout term like the Love Music Hate Racism concert in November and the Big Chill to help you catch your breath as the term progresses.
As the year progresses and you find your stride, we hope you'll find out first-hand the great things you can do with CUSU, and the great things CUSU can do with your energy.
