User accounts - Raven authentication
To make changes, a Raven password is required for security. You can obtain your Raven password from the University Computing Service immediately if you do not yet have it.
If you have forgotten your Raven password, you will need to request a new one from the central University Computing Service.
Various security and auditing mechanisms are in place. Submissions are sent using HTTP as the server does not currently have an SSL certificate, although the Raven authentication stage is transmitted using HTTPS. Please contact us if you have any questions on security.
How do we pre-fill your name in some webforms?
If you are logged in via Raven, we use the University's lookup service to obtain then pre-fill your name as a time-saving courtesy.
All data is stored in accordance with the Data Protection Act, and data submitted through this system will not be passed on to third parties.
Naturally, CUSU has no control over the use of information which Societies expressly choose to make public through this system.
