Little Black Book

This handbook aims to make the experiences of non-white students in Cambridge known and, through education, to break down the ignorance and fear that lead to racial tension.

Little Black Book

Cambridge University Student's Union CUSU Little Black Book 2008/2009

Welcome to the Little Black Book, produced by Cambridge University Students' Union and the CUSU Black Students' Campaign with the contributions of the Cambridge student community.

In producing this handbook, we seek to build the solidarity between communities, such that individuals can find the confidence needed to make the most of their time here.

Four years ago, Cambridge University Students' Union published the first Little Black Book to great acclaim. The handbook, which was hailed as a 'milestone' by the Stephen Lawrence Trust, was used by the Department for Education and Employment as part of its national race relations initiative and won the gold standard first prize in the Raising Diversity Awareness section of the National Diversity Awards.
