Resource Management Committee

Student Representatives: Mark Fletcher

The student representatives are elected by a cross campus election, organised by the University and usually held at the end of Easter Term. Although they are often CUSU or GU officers, they therefore serve in their personal capacity. Two student members represent all students whilst the third is elected from amongst the graduate students.

The Resource Management Committee is formally a joint committee of the Council and the General Board, dealing with the detailed work of resource allocation and reporting principally through the Planning and Resources Committee (PRC), with responsibilities focused on: management of the Resource Allocation Model (RAM) and its implementation; advising the PRC on allocations for central heads of expenditure; and co-ordinating Cambridge's participation in national funding initiatives, such as SRIF.
