When publicising society events, these ideas might be of interest:

Listings in TCS	The Cambridge Student newspaper runs a listings service. See our business section for further information and pricings.
Varsity Listings	A similar service to TCS. Must be submitted to Varsity, Floor 2, 11-12 Trumpington Street by 3pm on Monday. Alternatively you can submit them electronically at www.varsity.cam.ac.uk.

Websites and mailing lists	Registered societies can obtain computing facilities from the University Computing Service. However, the Student-Run Computing Facility (SRCF), in association with CUSU, provides free webspace and computing facilities including e-mail and mailing list facilities, without the bureaucracy.
