Societies
Publicity
When publicising society events, these ideas might be of interest:
| Listings in TCS | The Cambridge Student newspaper runs a listings service. See our business section for further information and pricings. |
| Varsity Listings | A similar service to TCS. Must be submitted to Varsity, Floor 2, 11-12 Trumpington Street by 3pm on Monday. Alternatively you can submit them electronically at www.varsity.cam.ac.uk. |
| Posters | Each college has poster boards on which students can leave information about upcoming events. You may find this list of local printers or the cheap yet top-quality CUSU Photocopying Service useful. |
| Flyers | As every student has an individual pigeon hole at their college you might consider flyering them. Again, you may find this list of local printers or the cheap yet top-quality CUSU Photocopying Service useful. |
| Websites and mailing lists | Registered societies can obtain computing facilities from the University Computing Service. However, the Student-Run Computing Facility (SRCF), in association with CUSU, provides free webspace and computing facilities including e-mail and mailing list facilities, without the bureaucracy. |
