CUSU Societies Fair 2007- Information for Stallholders
The CUSU Societies' Fair 2007 will take place at the Kelsey Kerridge Sports Hall on October 2nd and 3rd.
The whole event should be a very fun and useful couple of days, and information about the Fair is included. Please keep on checking this website for updates as we approach the dates of the Fair, which will constantly be updates with information and advise. Really feel free to email any queries to the CUSU Services Officer, or if they are business related, to the CUSU Business Manager.
At the fair itself, a large number of marshalls (mainly the CUSU Executive) will be present and circulating, and should be anyone's first port of call for any information. If they are not visable, there will be at least one marshall at all times at the CUSU stalls.
Approved stalls
Applications for stalls will be decided upon by late August 2007. Please keep checking this website for updates.
Societies Fair layout
The societies fair layout will be decided upon by late August 2007. Please keep checking this website for updates.
Set-up times and general fair information
Information will be added to this website on the fair over the Easter term and summer holidays. Please keep checking this website for updates.
Health and safety
For stallholders, health and safety is evern more important, than for the students passing through the fair, and so reading these notes becomes more important.
There will be a large number of society marshalls (mainly CUSU Executive members) all around at the event, who will be wearing marked blue t-shirts, and they are the first people to contact if you are at risk, or if you see anyone else in any risk. This risk may be a medical problem, a fire hazard is evident, or some individuals are acting aggresively.
Throughout the event, a team of St. John's Ambulance First aiders will be on hand to aid in any medical situation, and if needed can be contacted through one of the marshalls.
There will also be a number of trained security personnel on hand as well, who again can be contacted through the society marshalls.
In the event of an emergency (such as a fire), the marshalls and Kelsey Kerridge staff, will direct people through the relevant emergency procedures.
For further details of the events risk assessment and risk prevention measure, please contact the CUSU Services Officer.
