The University’s largest and favourite scientific society! Our weekly talks on matters ranging from dark energy and string theory to marine ecology and cyborgs put you in touch with the research that is shaping the present day and the future. A society for those passionate about science, as a member you can sit next to Nobel Prize winners for dinner, enjoy our fabulous social events (formal dinners, garden parties), our trips (CERN, Diamond Light Source) and a wide range of members only benefits.
