University of Cambridge Philharmonic Orchestra [UCPO]

UCPO is a fun, friendly, student-run orchestra that welcomes players of all abilities. There are no auditions, regular pub trips and social events, and we offer the best biscuits of any orchestra in Cambridge.

We hold a concert once a term and aim to present classical music in a fun and unpretentious way. We also run a chamber orchestra (UCP) which allows us to tackle a wide range of music.

UCPO auditions for conductors and soloists in May/June each year. Keep an eye on our web site for details.
