Cambridge People & Planet [P&P]

The Cambridge branch of a national student group campaigning on world poverty, human rights and the environment. In the past, we have campaigned using methods ranging from postcards and petitions to balloon launches, marches and die-ins. We've put stickers on Nestle vending machines, picketed careers talks, marched round Cambridge in Tony Blair masks, and eaten picnics outside a refugee detention centre. We also educate ourselves and others, with visiting speakers and trips to national events such as Shared Planet, the national conference for P&P; and the Night for Trade Justice, a march around London by night to demand fairer trade rules.
