Cambridge University Musical Theatre Society [CUMTS]
Cambridge University Musical Theatre Society (CUMTS) was founded in 1998 and has become one of the largest, most widely acclaimed and successful theatrical societies in the city. CUMTS is committed exclusively to performing high quality musical theatre, with roles available as principals, ensemble performers, orchestral players, directors, choreographers, musical directors, producers, and a myriad of other production positions. Membership of CUMTS provides possibilities to perform in Bar Nights and Jazz Evenings, alongside discounts for workshops, theatre trips and socials - we are the centre for all lovers of musical theatre! Show are put on throughout the year at various venues around Cambridge. Previous productions include 'JET SET GO!' (February 2011 and Edinburgh Fringe), 'Songs For A New World' (March 2011), 'RENT' (November 2010), 'I Love You, You're Perfect Now Change' (February 2010), 'The Wizard of Oz' (November 2009), 'Gigi' (June 2009), 'Kiss of the Spiderwoman' (February 2009), 'Parade' (November 2008).
