Cambridge Mixtape Society [CMS]

This is a society for anyone who loves music and loves sharing music. It's a growing community of music-lovers, DJs and producers.

Whether you're an aficionado of underground Japanese hip-hop, a connoisseur of trans-atlantic indie or one of those people who 'likes the tune, but doesn't know the name...'. This society is made for you.

Here's the idea, pure and simple:

1. Use a blank CD to make a Mixtape of 10 songs of your choice.
2. Bring your Mixtape along to a pub or college bar for a Tuesday night meeting.
3. Discuss your song choices with your fellow Mixtapers. Meet old friends and make new ones.
4. Choose someone to swap Mixtapes with.
5. Have a few drinks and a good time...

It requires minimal commitment, is good fun and a great way to get to know your generation at Cambridge through their musical tastes.

The only 'rule': remember to list the artist and song names on your Mixtape, so people know what they're listening to.
