St Margaret's Society of Queens' [MagSoc]

The St Margaret Society (MagSoc) is the Music Society of Queens' College. Founded over one hundred and twenty years ago, it is now one of the largest and best-known university music societies in Cambridge.

MagSoc is home to the largest non-audition chorus in Cambridge, an orchestra, a chamber choir, a recital series, and our own Jazz band, QJazz. We also foster student conducting - students conduct the chorus and orchestra and recieve training from our Dirctor of Music. Recent performances include Mozart's Requiem, Poulenc's Gloria, Vaughan Williams' Tuba Concerto and a piano concerto written by a Queens' student.
