Cambridge University Kenya Education Partnerships [CUKEP]
KEP is a student-run education charity that focuses on improving Kenyan secondary education but does so by investing in resources and holistic extra-curricular programmes, not by teaching. Successful applicants will be partnered with a secondary school in rural Kenya and work there as a Project Worker for 8 weeks in Summer 2012. They'll be given the opportunity to invest £1700 purchasing much-needed resources for their school, as well as creating a programme of health awareness, gender equality, post-education opportunities, sports, music, arts, and drama.
