In Defence Of Animals [IDA]

In Defence Of Animals (IDA) is a group of students at the University of Cambridge concerned about the treatment of animals on farms and in laboratories. The reasons for which members are concerned about animals vary, as we come to the issues from a variety ideological positions. We welcome everyone who wants to work to promote animal welfare, rights or liberation through peaceful means ranging from promoting dietary changes to investigating new ways of thinking. In the coming year, we will organiza educational events that raise the awareness of the consequences of the human uses of animals to encourage other to question the legitmacy of the ethical status of animals in the world today.
