Cambridge University Heraldic and Genealogical Society [CUHAGS]

Now over 50 years old, CUHAGS has been helping students and others to launch into the unknown with some surprising results. Some have had quite a shock when discovering what their ancestors really did – be it sheep stealing, inventing or aristocrat. Meetings are held every fortnight in term with a wide range of speakers holding forth on family history, heraldry and related subjects to a very sociable gathering. In addition regular visits and termly dinners take place to give a good social background.
