Cambridge Footlights Dramatic Club

The Footlights Dramatic club offers a unique oppurtunity for Cambridge and ARU students with an interest in comedy. Our regular late-night 'smokers' give writers and performers a chance to try out sketches, monologues, songs and stand-up in front of a sell-out crowd. The club also has open auditions for its three yearly main shows: the Pantomime in Michaelmas Term, the Spring Revue in Lent, and the famous Tour Show in Easter (the 2001 Tour was nominated for the Perrier Best Newcomer Award at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival). With alumni ranging from Peter Cook to Sacha Baron Cohen, John Cleese to Jonny Sweet, Footlights aims to continue its tradition of exciting, imaginative comedy.
