Cambridge East Asian Cultural Society [CEACS]

The objectives of CEACS:
1. To cultivate awareness and appreciation of East Asian culture.
2. To challenge preconceptions and to eliminate stereotyping of East Asian societies.
3. To promote awareness and discussion of current affairs in East Asia.
4. To create an organisation which recognises the interactions between these countries as essential to the comprehension of their cultural identities.
5. To provide a forum for social interaction and a structure supporting the general welfare of members.
6. To form constructive networks with institutions both within and outside of Cambridge that will be of benefit to the members of the Society.
