Cambridge University Strathspey & Reel Club [CUSRC]

The Reel Club, runs lots of activities involving Scottish Country Dancing [like ceilidh dancing, but fancier ; ) ]. We meet at the Wesley Methodist Church on King Street on Mondays and Wednesdays 8-10pm.

Every Monday we run a social dancing session, which includes a small amount of teaching of the basic steps and figures. Everyone is welcome on Mondays, from beginners to old hands, and you don't need to bring a partner.
The cost is £2 for members, £3 non-members, or £15 for the term plus membership (£5 for the year). If it's your first term (or first session for real-people-with-jobs) then it's free, so there's really no excuse not to give it a go!. Refreshments are provided.

On Wednesdays during full term there is an advanced class which is run jointly with the Cambridge RSCDS branch. Participation is by invitation only; please ask a committee member if you are interested in attending. The weekly cost is £2 (unwaged), £3 (waged), or £15/£22 respectively for the term.
