Cambridge University Society for SOS Children's Villages [CUSOS]

Cambridge University Society for SOS Children's Villages (CUSOS) works closely with the UK branch of SOS Children's Villages, the world's largest orphan charity, developing and carrying out their education programs with local and national schools (both Primary and Secondary). Students have to opportunity to develop innovative lesson plans in SOSUK's headquarters (conveniently based in Cambridge...), based on real life situations SOS faces in caring for some 70,000 children in each of the 123 counties it works with. There is then an opportunity to present these plans in schools around the UK. Ideal for students interested in education/teaching, charity administration and NGO work, this is a rare opportunity to work closely with one of the world's largest NGOs.
