Currachs are the traditional rowing boats of the Irish coast, made off tarred canvas stretched over a wooden frame.
CUCRA are a group of student rowers who travel to Ireland during the summer vacation to compete in the Irish International Currach Championships. In past years CUCRA members have been men's singles champions and taken second prize in the men's doubles.

Videos from the 2007 and 2008 championships can be seen on NewryTV.
