Cambridge University Croquet Club [CUCC]

Croquet is a gentle sport that combines strategy and physical skill. We exist to promote it at all levels in the university - whether you want an afternoon's knockabout with friends and a glass of Pimm's or the challenge of competition play.
Nevertheless be under no illusions at the higher reaches of the sport it can be mentally exhausting and psychologically brutal. Our favoured competitive game is Association Croquet played under Advanced Rules. This is the format for the Annual Varsity Match played at the Hurlingham Club.
We can accommodate all abilities from Absolute Beginner to Experienced Player and we're happy to provide basic training - strength, sex, age and, to some extent, skill don't matter in this game - so come along and give it a go!
