Cambridge University History Society [CLIO]

CLIO is the undergraduate history society, holding events that are of interest to historians and non-historians alike. We host guest speakers (in the recent past these have included Averil Cameron, John Tosh, Steve Hindle, Peter Hennessy and Pat Thane ) and social events, including formal halls, jazz and cocktail evenings and popular pub lunches. Membership gets you free entry to our talks and good discounts on our social events. For historian members, it gives you the chance to meet other historians from across the University in what can be a solitary, college-based subject.
