Cambridge University Cheerleading Society [CUCS]

The Cambridge University Cheerleading Society (Cambridge Cougars) is open to everyone with enthusiasm and spirit. Cheerleading is a combination of stunting, tumbling and dance that is easy to learn but requires strength, co-ordination and agility to master. We perform at matches, events and compete in national competitions! Come along to a practice and we promise you'll be hooked!!! Go Cougars!!!

The Cambridge Cougars had a very successful year in 2010-11. We placed 3rd out of 8 teams at the Future Cheer University/Open competition in February in the coed level 3 division and placed 3rd/11 at the ICC University National Championship, competing against teams of all levels from Universities across the country! in 2011/12 was also a great year, coming we came 3rd/9 in the Futurecheer national university competition!

We do not require any previous experience, but a background in dance or gymnastics is a bonus! Introductory sessions will be held in October. The competition team will be selected in November.
