Cambridge University Ceilidh Band [CUCB]

The CU Ceilidh Band is a thriving society of energetic musicians brought together by our love of, and dedication to, traditional music. The band's origins are in Celtic tunes from the British Isles, but we are always ready to explore other traditions and styles of folk music, and welcome all kinds of instrument. Each term we play for several ceilidhs in the company of an expert caller, and we are much in demand for May Balls and other events. We are open to musicians of all standards, and our performances are always highly enjoyable for players and dancers alike.
