Cambridge University Baha'i Society [CUBS]
An organisation of people of all faiths or none dedicated to the promotion of the universal principles of the Baha'i Faith.
We believe that the widespread upheavals characterizing the global scene in this century, as well as the rapid advances in science and technology which are forcing humanity to acknowledge its organic unity and interconnectedness, are hallmarks of the coming-of-age of the human race and serve as portents of the establishment of a spiritualised and peaceful world civilisation. This bright vision of our future can be achieved only through the apprehension of the oneness of the human race and our common spiritual destiny.
In the 30 years since it was established, the Cambridge University Baha'i Society has been active in promoting these fundamental principles at the University and in being a dynamic force for the bringing together of students from all backgrounds.
The society is open to all students and guests. It aims to encourage association, friendship and interchange of ideas between those of differing backgrounds and to promote discussion of topical and global issues as well as those related to spiritual and personal development.
