Sexual Health

The Cambridge c-card scheme is a scheme where all students can access free condoms and sexual health advice. This is a free, confidential service to all students. To find out more, visit the c-card page.

We also provide a range of sexual health related items for purchase at cost price, to individuals, JCRs and MCRs.

The items are all available to buy from the CUSU reception. If you would like to speak privately to someone about sexual health supplies, please ask reception for the Welfare Officer or the Women's Officer.

JCR and MCR Officers buying for their college may leave a note for their union to be invoiced, as long as the order is over £25. Otherwise payment is by cash or cheque.

Please note that the Durex condoms are in no way better quality or safer than the Pasante ones. Both brands having been tested to rigorous standards and are suitable for all kinds of penetrative sex, including anal sex.

All condoms are non-spermicidal, as conclusive studies have shown that spermicidal condoms are in no way more effective at preventing pregnancy, and may in fact have negative effects.
