Information on Reserved Business
In Lent 2007, a number of student officers examined university and college committee's use of Reserved Business. From this the following documents have been written up:
- Guidelines Reserved Business- The 'final' document, with advise on what can be expected and what can be allowed to be in Reserved Business. This is specifically aimed at JCRs, MCRs and faculty reps, but may be of use to anyone who sits on any official committee.
- Reserved Business Questionnaire and Answers- The questionnaire that was used to construct the document 'Guidelines Reserved Business' and responses from different colleges.
- Analysis of Reserved Business Questionnaire results- A more in-depth an analysis of responses.
- Faculty Board and Reserved Business- A letter from the University Academic Division pointing out to all faculty boards what should be included in Reserved Business. Further University advice is available here, as well as information on Faculty Representatives and Reserved Business.
- Freedom of Information and Data Protection- A side document that may be of use to all, pointing out how these two acts relate to college/ University stored data, what stored data can be viewed and what can't,, and how to apply to see viewable data.
