Results
Yes - 2,366 - 91.67%
No - 195 - 7.56%
Blank/Spoilt - 20 - 0.77%
Turnout was 2,581, or 12.8% of the electorate.
To pass, Yes needed to win the referendum and also to receive at least 10% of the votes of the entire electorate. That threshold was 2,137 votes, and so Yes has won the referendum. The changes are therefore passed.
What's being decided?
The referendum is on the following question:
"Do you agree to the changes to CUSU's Constitution to enlarge and reform the CUSU Trustee Board?"
These changes would increase the size of the board, adding positions for students studying for their degrees to sit on the Board, as well as changing which Sabbaticals are members and adding space for two external Trustees to be appointed.
