Cambridge Samulnori

Cambridge Samulnori was launched in 2009 by internationally renowned percussionist Kim Duk Soo. Samulnori means "the play of four things" and originates from farmers' music (nongak).We have a teacher and instruments and welcome more players. Beginners start with the principal instrument called the Chang'go.
Cambridge Samulnori welcomes students, alumni, fellows and local residents – anyone who is interested in learning how to play Korean percussion! The group meets once a week.
