30th October - 7th November
Cambridge University Stands Up is a week of events and activities to celebrate and explore diversity in the Cambridge community and beyond.
The events throughout the week will focus on issues of equality, and generate ways to take action for equal opportunities for everyone, regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, disability, age, nationality or class.
Discrimination, homophobia and racism continue to present a real threat to the student experience in Cambridge. In the face of hate crime, unequal access to opportunities and the growing profile of fascist parties in the political system, we must continue to speak out against ideologies of discrimination and hatred.
Throughout this week, we challenge you to stand up for what you believe in, and take action to make it happen!
