End Our Debt - Invest in Education!
On Tuesday 20th November 2001, students from all over East Anglia will descend on Cambridge to protest against the Government's HE Funding policy. Join them in one voice to demand access to Higher Education for all!
This day of action involves a march through the streets of Cambridge followed by a carnival-like rally on Parker's Piece, with speakers, entertainments and a massive balloon release.
CUSU have been involved heavily in the organisation of the rally and hope that the Cambridge delegation will be the largest there on the day. Our policy (set by representatives of JCRs, MCRs, faculties and the Exec) is to ensure the return of the grant, the abolition of tuition fees, and the dropping of any proposals for top-up-fees.
