Dear all,

Congratulations to everyone who finished exams last week-- I hope you're
celebrating with a busy May Week ahead!

If you've got some time left over the next week, see below for music
concerts, ceilidhs, and of course, garden parties.

CUSU Ents will also be holding the final Rendez2 of term at Kambar this
Wednesday, entry is £3 as always!

Remember that the Student Advice Service (advice@cusu.cam.ac.uk) is
available if any academic/welfare issues arise during May Week or after.

# 1. Disabled Students' Campaign Open Meeting & Garden Party

Date: Tuesday 21st June
Time: Open meeting: 12 noon - 1pm, Garden party 1pm - 4pm
Where: Open meeting: Knox Shaw Room, Sidney; Garden party: Sidney College gardens

The last open meeting of the year, a chance to contribute to our campaign over the next year and upcoming purchases for making our meetings more accessible among other things. Followed by a chance to chill out and drink pimps in (hopefully) the sunshine at our garden party.

Sidney Sussex is opposite Sainsburys, the Knox Shaw room is best found by heading left from the porter's lodge and following the signs from that courtyard, for those requiring step free access this is available from the gate in Kings Street (you may need to phone the porters to get them to open it remotely) or by phoning the porter's on 01223338800 and them opening the gate next to the ex-Galloway and Porters, apologies.

# 2. the Round's May Week Ceilidh

Date: Thursday 23rd June
Time: 8-11pm
Where: Emma College Old Library

Come and celebrate May Week with the Round by dancing to our scratch band at the May Week Ceilidh! No partner or experience is required - bring all your friends and have a fabulous night.

# 3. New society in digital gaming recruiting committee members

“The Cambridge University Digital-Gaming Society” is now recruiting committee members. Our society aims to create a better community for all the gamers across the university and bring better understanding and publicity of gamers’ society to the University.
1.Publicity officer(x2): Take responsibility for publicising the club, its events and members
2.Junior treasurer assistant: Assisting the junior treasurer in terms of property keeping and fund raising.
3.Game Representatives:For each game the society will be interested, a Game representative will be needed who is responsible for any enquires with respect to the game and in general will be in charge of organising online or offline event for the gamers in that game.

# 4. Science Societies' Garden Party

Congratulations to all of you for getting through the exam term this year! Now it's time to relax and enjoy May Week! We'd like to remind you of the event this week that you can't miss:
The Science Societies' Garden Party!
Come and relax with us in the sun with a cool glass of Pimms and lots of delicious food. There will also hopefully be a Band and and non-alcoholic drinks for those already feeling pickled by May Week.

SciSoc looks forward to seeing many of you there! Spaces at the Garden Party are unfortunately limited by capacity so make sure to arrive promptly to ensure a place.

# 5. Beginners Orienteering Event

Want a run/jog/walk in the sun to wear off the effects of May Week? Then go orienteering at Cambridge University Orienteering Club’s free beginners’ event on Thursday 23 June! We will provide coaches to help you tackle courses suitable for beginners and improving orienteers, and there will be CAKE. If you’ve ever wondered what orienteering is all about, this is when you find out!

Bring yourself, clothes you can jog in and as many friends as you can muster. We will be on the grass near City Cycle Hire on Lammas Land (http://pininthemap.com/ppc345b6ce2aea61f5d), just turn up any time between 3.30-4.15pm.
